My rat Tom died yesterday, leaving his brother behind.

I thought I should write a few words about him, just for myself, to remember him by.

When I got him, the guy at the pet store said that I should look out for him, since he was the adventurous sort. He'd be cleaning the cage and Tom would be gone in a flash, climbing over to the girl rat cage. Tom was a Houdini, he'd climb around on the headboard of my bed, over the bookshelf and land on the sofa. He'd do daring escapes, ending up under the bed and being impossible to get out unless he was lured with snacks.

He was the gentler of the pair of brothers, carefully taking snacks from me and nibbling on them. He was the cuddliest and cutest rat ever, black with a white belly and white paws.

I'm going to miss him very much.

I think that the builders outside should be terribly glad that I'm not a wizard and that I don't have a wand.

They were being all Mister Noisy outside, to the point where it sounded like they were pounding on something in the middle of my flat and the first thing that went through my mind when I woke up was 'Crucio!'

I've just friended a bunch of people. So hiya, to all of you!

I really like it here on IJ, there's a sense of it all being shiny and new and I kind of like that. Maybe I'll even venture so far as to actually post fic here without getting hit by nerves and not posting. I get all angsty, oh noes.

I'd love to be more active in fandom, beyond rp-ing until my fingers drop off. Though if anyone can recommend a good rp, I probably wouldn't say no to trying it out.

Watching a norwegian horror movie. It's kind of silly at the moment, with the biggest eww moment being some self help bone setting. Hopefully it'll get better =D

Eta: Uh oh, the first sex scene. I bet anything that happy couple dies first =D
